Tēnā koutou, Welcome,
I am a PhD Student studying extremism, violent extremism, and terrorism in New Zealand. My BA in Psychology, Masters in Defence and Security (Merit), and practical experience in investigations, security, and intelligence give me a unique understanding of national security's complexity and challenges. New Zealand women in right-wing and Islamic extremism were the focus of my master's research. Current doctoral research is on Anti-Government / Anti-Institutional Extremism. As an researcher, being among New Zealand's small security scholar community, including terrorism experts, is beneficial. No matter what we know, there is always more to learn.
